We don't perform at a crowd — we pull everyone in. And you don't have to polka to dance with us. No experience required.
The Austin Polka Band is a rotating ensemble of veteran Central Texas musicians who've been keeping polka, waltzes, and marches alive since 2002. Twenty-plus years in, with many players carrying 40+ years of stage time, we've turned old-world oompah into a Texas-sized party.
It's Bavarian tradition meeting Texas hospitality — two cultures that have more in common than you'd think. Both love a cold drink, a good crowd, and a reason to celebrate. That's the whole idea, and it's what every show delivers: warmth, fun, and a room full of people on their feet.

At its heart the Austin Polka Band is a seven-piece — vocals out front, a real bottom end, and the horn line that fills a hall and gets everyone dancing.

Oktoberfests, Deutschen Fests, breweries, biergartens, festivals, reunions, and corporate parties that want a proper good time. We read the room and scale the energy — from a quiet biergarten set to a full festival main stage.
Sound engineering is available for any size venue. Wherever the Austin Polka Band plays, we can handle it — so you don't have to.
From a brewery taproom to a private hall, we can provide full sound and run the board ourselves — PA, mics, monitors, the lot. Nothing extra for you to source.
Got a festival or a venue with its own house engineer and rig? Perfect. We're just as happy to work alongside them — consulting on the mix and our inputs so the band sounds its best on your system.
