Seven pieces, one big sound
At its heart, the Austin Polka Band is a seven-piece: cornet, clarinet, accordion, drums, tuba, Peck horn, and a lead singer who doubles on euphonium (and sings a few numbers in the original German). That's the core sound — vocals out front, a real bottom end, the lineup that fills a hall and gets everyone on their feet.
